There are many opportunities for graduate study in perception at Penn. Graduate study at Penn is administered by graduate groups, which operate separately from academic departments. Many perception faculty participate in, and advise students from, two or more graduate groups. These include Bioengineering, Computer and Information Sciences, Neuroscience, and Psychology. The graduate group structure, and the participation of faculty in multiple graduate groups, reflects the interdisciplinary nature of research and graduate training at the University of Pennsylvania.
